Dr. Dennis H. Olson completed his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College, a Lutheran liberal arts college in Northfield, Minnesota, in 1965. Earning a double-major in Biology and Chemistry, he went on to attend Medical School at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota between 1965-1969. His rotating internship was at LAC-USC in Los Angeles, California from 1969-1970. His general surgical residency was at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado from 1970-1974. He completed a vascular fellowship at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio from 1974-1975. He has been in a solo private Vascular Surgery practice at the present site since September 1975.
Dr. Dennis H. Olson is a board certified general surgeon; after completing his fellowship in Vascular Surgery, he began limiting his practice to Vascular Surgery and Veins, Arteries and Lymphatics.
Dr. Dennis H. Olson is a fellow of the American College Of Surgeons. He is a member of the Society For Vascular Surgery (SVS), the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery (SCVS), the Rocky Mountain Vascular Surgical Society (RMVSS), the Denver Surgical Society, the International Society of Endovascular Specialists, and the American College of Phlebology (a vein society).
Dr. Dennis H. Olson attends several symposia each year to keep abreast of all the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technology which he employs in his practice to ensure that his patients receive the best care available.
